  • Core Responsibilities:

    As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and equipment for our clients' production facilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure optimal performance and functionality of our systems.

    Core Tasks will include:

    • Design and implement electrical systems and equipment for process engineering projects.

    • Develop electrical drawings, specifications, and control systems for new and existing equipment.

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable operation of process equipment.

    • Lead electrical troubleshooting efforts and implement corrective actions as needed.

    • Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring electrical systems meet project specifications and timelines.

    • Develop and maintain electrical standards and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

    • Provide technical expertise and training to project teams and clients.

    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for implementation.

    Essential skills, qualifications and experience required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

    • Holder of or working towards Registration as RPEQ

    • 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the process engineering industry.

    • Experience with electrical design, programming, and troubleshooting of industrial control systems.

    • Working knowledge of Australian Standards, especially the Wiring Rules, Machine Safety and Hazardous Areas.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail.

    • Strong commitment to safety and quality.

    • Flexibility to travel interstate

    • The right to work in Australia is mandatory for the role

  • Core Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for projects throughout all phases of the project cycle. It is expected that the project engineer delivers projects according to the scope and specifications, on time, in budget with a focus on customer satisfaction. The successful candidate must be self-directed, able to work independently and have proven ability to work as a member of a cross functional engineering team.

    Core tasks will include:

    • Interface with clients to define and clarify scope and technical requirements

    • Development of technical design documentation from concept through to detail design

    • Development of Heat and Mass Balances, PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment lists, Data sheets

    • Perform Heat transfer calculations and Fluid flow calculations

    • Work with designers and engineers in the development of General Arrangement, Elevation layouts and piping drawings

    • Development of Process descriptions

    • Performs interdisciplinary coordination checks to minimize deficiencies, errors and omissions in drawings and specifications

    • Prepare and execute Risk Assessments and participate in HAZOP studies

    • Prepare tender Work packages

    • Procurement and management of contractor work packages and third-party equipment

    • Project reporting on schedule and budget

    • Requirement to work on any or all phases of a project, from the initial concept through the installation and commission of new equipment / plants at customer site

    • Travel for meetings, installation monitoring, site troubleshooting and commissioning

    Essential skills, qualifications and experience required:

    • An engineering degree in Process/Chemical/Mechanical/Food & Beverage Engineering

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in process engineering ideally within the food & beverage or chemical industry

    • Excellent communication skills (English), both written and verbal

    • Communicate ideas clearly, concisely and effectively

    • Utilize process engineering knowledge to understand and document current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement sustainable solutions

    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

    • A genuine interest to work on different phases of project delivery, through to the commissioning phase

    • Experience in project implementation

    • Creativity and positive mindset embracing new ideas

    • Outstanding attention to detail

    • Experience in design, selection, installation and inspection of process equipment

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in multidisciplinary team settings as well as independently

    • Basic project management skills and the self-drive to work autonomously

    • High multi-tasking and prioritisation skills

    • Time management & organizational skills

    • Drafting experience preferred (AutoCAD/Plant 3D)

    • Flexibility to travel interstate
